I have been searching around on the forum, and I sorta know the different in between NS7000 / ARC 7 and NS8000!

I am currently using MP88, I am kinda a smash person. I have been using MP88 for 2 years now. I feel that the MP88 is a bit too flex. Although it is good for defense return but for smash I am looking for something better.

I have been narrow down for either ARC 7/ NS7000 and NS8000,
I only tried NS8000 4U, it is too light for me, as my smash is a lot quicker but for smash return is bad... NOT sure NS8000 3U.

I am having a good DEAL on NS7000, anyone can give me some advise?

The difference between the NS7000, ARC 7 and NS8000

    .
To you, it's the feel of the racket whenever you strike the shuttlecock.

To your opponent(s) on the other side of the net, it's how the shuttlecock travels over the net towards them.

The difference between NS7000 / ARC 7 and NS8000 depends on how you like/feel about the racket. It's not whether which racket better for attacking or defending.

NS8000 4U doesn't exist ... how can too light be better for smash but worse for defense?
Perhaps you can take a look @ Arcsaber 5 ...

NS8k headlight is a great racket for double, quite stiff. Fast, great defence racket and reasonable smash power. Acr7 just medium stiff, more balance and a bit heavier ns8k. Great racket and good power. It's up to you if you prefer headlight or even balance. NS7k more headlight compare to Ns8k. I prefer ns8k over ns7k if you like ns series.

I have arc7 & ns8000, I prefer arc7. But, if you like your mp88, but need more power for smash, try at600. It has the same shaft flex w/ mp88, but w/ a heavier head. But, if you want a stiffer shaft, arc7 is ok. NS8000 is extra stiff, the difference is too extreme (to mp88). You might 'hate' ns8000.

Ns7000 is a stiff racket and headlight, while Arc7 is medium stiff and even balance. If you got good strong wrist then stiff racket will give you very powerful smashes, otherwise medium stiff is better. Since you are playing with MP88 I think Arc7 is better for you. Ns7000 is too headlight racket, its ok for double, but with Arc7 you can play double and single as well. Pick a racket is more of a personal choice, it best that you should try out for yourself.

AT900T is great racket, more like all around type. Very easy to play with, has great control and defense. I found it not as powerful as Arc8DX, and same smash power as my NS9900. If money not a problem, get AT900T. AT900T is a stiff racket as well, but not as stiff as ns9900 or arc8dx. For me I found At900t not quite solid at smash impact not sure about you though.

will that too head heavy ... Final narrow down to
    At900T 4U or 3U?
    Arc 7

coz I saw lots of international player using At900T but not much for Arc 7....
is that really that much better? apart from the stiffness?

AT900T is a head heavy racket compare to ns8k ns7k and arc7, so if you can play with head heavy then it a great racket. 3U is slightly a bit heavier, a bit slower to move around. But more durable. I have not played with 4U version so I can't tell. I think it best that you should try it out and see which one better for you.

You should be able to feel and compare the AT900T to your MP88 racket. Only best that you try the racket out for yourself see if you feel comfortable with it.

You can use the search function to search for racket chart from Yonex. This should give you a good view of how head heavy for the Armortec, Arcsaber, Nanospeed and MusclePower.
