Why? Just get a larger sized handle...

    i do.
    1. electrical tape over the original
    2. overgrip over the electrical tape
both just add 1.3 - 1.5mm thickness to the original which i find still comfy.

Just bought a At600, and had an overgrip on it from the shop, on top of the original. Have also put another overgrip on, and still think it's a little on the thin side!!

I used to like bigger grip size when I was younger. Now, I stick to thinner ones. ;)

I do for the top half of the handle. This is so that I have a thicker grip nearer the cone and a thinner one nearer the butt.

I do that not for extra sweat absorbing but for a bigger grip size. My towel grips are thin and I have an overgrip on the replacement grip before I put on the towel gip.

I just tend to have a Karakal grip underneath an overgrip. I always remove the original grip as it seems so pointless being there. Its so thin it might as well not be there for me.

Seems a bit daft to overgrip your overgrip. Though i suppose if u want a certain racket and can't get the right size handle then its works.

If you don't put tape over the original, when the times comes to change the grip the adhesive will stick to the original grip making a mess.

I use sellotape or shrinkwrap so its easy to change grips

to maintain the original appereance of the racket I always use a yonex overgrip
[Yonex Super Grap Overgrip (AC102EX)]

    the advantage of this grip:
easy to assemble and easy to remove without destroying the basic grip especially for the rackets of yonex.

if you still feel that you need a bigger handle just add an overgrip you like over the AC 102 EX

so you needn´t put so much effort in removing the overgrip

p.s. I would be careful if you use towel grips.
if you wrapp it till your shaft it might damage your paintwork like by my AT500 before
so be carefull maybe I also was too impatient :D
