What is the disadvantage of towel grip? And if I were to buy one. Just apply over the grip or need other stuffs?

    Thanks! :)

it smells horribly after use, plus the towel will harden up after using it for a couple of sessions.
another disadvantage is that its not tacky like the synthetic grip.

towel grips i find make me hold the racket not as tight as normal tacky grips, which isn't a bad thing at all i tend to get a lot of power using towel grips but they're certainly not for everyone. If you have not tried a towel grip you should no doubt. I also find their very slippery initially but once the towel gets slightly wet the grip is good.

should try for sure ! :D

My choice is a PU grip , karakal is my choice , these are thicker than over grips and will resist rolling up , they have adhesive back , as I have a large hand I leave original grip on , remove the film on new grip which I use to cover old grip as the new grip will tear old grip when replacing the outer one

in humid country, its not advisable to use it. Stinks when you sweat. ;)
