I recently broke the strings of my only racquet :crying: (brought a new one now), i was wondering, because sometimes, when i lose a point, i pick at the racquet strings, is that bad for it? Would it last longer if i didnt pick at it? Did that make sense to you?
Pick at it as in re-adjusting the strings after it has moved when finished with a rally. For me, I re-adjust my strings when I see it's out of place. Look at tennis players, they always do it...I see no harm in doing it.
Doesn't do any harm at all - in fact, having the string out of place would probably do more damage in the long run
I always readjust the strings, no issues with it. You want an even string bed for the best performance anyway.
i always do that too..as i have the thought if the strings are out of place, they might break easier pick them out of place? weird practice u have there
im trying not to do that now because i just got it re-strung and dont wanna break it again D: the replacement racquet i brought was really crap so yea..
you mean why do i pick the strings? haha i dont actually know xD and before, i used to tap my shoe with the racquet when i loose a point xDD guess thats kinda bad for the racquet too huh?
haha i just don't understand why u pick the strings out of their place oh well, what ever that makes u happy
DD today, i played a tournament and i didnt pick the strings at all DDDDDDD im pretty happy about that haha
