    Hi guys,

I'm looking to buy a new racket. I've been using a Carlton racket for 4 years now. I'm looking for a racket for doubles, around 84-85 grams, head heavy, and stiff shaft. I was looking at the Carlton Fireblade Elite at some online stores. But I'm a little reluctant to buy that since it's been discontinued. Anyone have any recommendations?

Sent you a PM. The Carltons are good in this range, the Elite especially as its quite a specific spec.

ive looked at new carlton rackets, and i really liked the trail elite racket, but its too heavy for doubles

the yonex rackets i was looking at were the at900 tech and power, but im trying to stick with carlton

I'm not sure the Elite is. Mine is 300BP but thats coz i have fiddled with it. The original with a new grip went down to 285 at one point with the old grip taken off. This would be good for doubles.

yea i looked at that one as well. but thats even balanced and medium flex. im thinking of just going with the fireblade elite. im play doubles only and smash and drive more often so i need a stiff shaft.

Panda power? Choice of balance to suit needs, within you required weight range & they are stiff....
