stop asking for much bout wrist strenghtening and how to play good,i will write it all here: 1)use dumbells around 5-10 kg on one hand 2)take a tennis or squash racquet and swing a smash (be very careful when doing this) 3)SIMPLY , play badminton! 4)keep on smashing when you have chance 5)smash to wall 6)try to get ur own smash while playing with the wall 7)always hit smahes over net(nvr repeat to much = under nets&hit the net) 8)use some sorta stress ball 9)nvr ask ppl are you good or not...... if you are good ppl will tell you 10)LAST keeping this simply i would say think badminton is COOL you all can add if ya wanto ! keep this bump up ! bump
Cool one BRM 's technique is pretty cool! http://badmintonforum.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=8603
add on 1)try not to get tension up/pressure while playing EVEN when your losing 2)to train for a backhand keep twisting ur wrist back and forth while taking a racquet 2.1)keep traning backhand against a wall 3)After hitting a shuttle which is nearly out, get back to the middle in a ready stance(there's no time to waste ) 4)aim for opponent racquet hand or towards him which make him startled 5)NEVER do a backhand smash if you did not master backhand & smashing techniques
LOL. Tour, these are good! lol. If I sprain my wrist trying to do all these.....I know where to look for you....in SMKDJ. lol.
Re: welcome~! Sheesh. As if I'll damage my precious Carb8 on you! I'll bring my cheap RM20 Yonex(first racquet). it's good, it's heavy. If I can find it....but I'm actually afraid to try most of your ways...Tour. lol. well, If i don't post here for a long time means I sprained ankle...bring a packet of ice with you to school then. lol
yay for newbies , 1)start by twisting everyday your wrist(making it stronger)P.S without racquet! um.....thats all ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~bump~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
!!! PusH uPs! knuckle & palm & diamond(?) & one handed (nvr tried b4) go for the 1st two try the diamond and you may get bended fingers (um....no warranty )
Re: !!! diamond? Tour, you try one hand first. Before telling others to do it. If you can't play badminton anymore cuz of an injured hand..... don't blame me. Blame yourself.
Well, in order to play good, you need to be good at the main stuff before weights actually start benefitting you so it'd be useless to start doing weights before you can even smash the bird correctly etc I think I'm doing perfectly fine and I don't do weights.
