is anyone interested in making a website where we can all submit a list of our badminton video/vcd collections and can make requests for trading videos with others?

Sounds good... But only for self-made videoes. What I meant, was the the ones that we shot during competitions for personal collection, it's seems fine.

However, for the videos that we bought? Isn't that illegal??? I assume there's "copy right" involved. By law, I don't think we can just post it online, without the permission.

Therefore, we have to be extra careful on this suggestion, don't want to bring ppl into trouble.

what i meant was videos that people have recorded from tv, not videos you have bought. for example there is no star sports cable channel in australia so the only way i can watch any matches is if a friend comes from malaysia and brings a tape with them.

videos recorded off tv are copyrighted too. ever watch a basketball game and they keep telling you that "any rebroadcasting or distribution of the presentation without consent of the NBA" is illegal.

Even then, it's not strictly legal per se, unless the main players in your footage has signed in writing that they give you permission to use the video. Oral agreements are valid only if you pay them for your usage.

But doing everything in a perfectly legal way is rather tedious ;)
