Hi buddies, I hope today we don't get confusion with the threads:confused: I did my best with the headline:rolleyes:
What's gonna happen today? First of all - good luck to uncle Wong! Man, it is amazing what he's doing, that fighting spirit is the best we can get, that's what we love to watch! Just keep on doing that!
That takes to the real topic of today - I really hope that the rumors regarding Taufik's statement in front of the up coming the match vs. Simon are just a rumor. It would be the worst thing for badminton if INA players start setting up matches (and to give away or gift it, however you call it - it's all the same). That's something we have complained many times when it was apparently (or even confirmed) done by others- ok, everybody knows it, no reason to start discussing again- - so please Taufik prove us wrong!
As long as everybody follows sports spirit good luck to all players!

I just read the article..basically it is the interpretation of reporter..
In the interview..Taufik said that he lost to Simon in HKG Open and it is time for Simon to step up..
FYI, Wong Wing Ki had trained at Djarum for few months ( been told)...His parent is a good friend of Tong Sin Fu and asked Djarum club to train him....He played well and spectators asked TH not to play rubber as They wanted to go home to watch WORLD CUP

Nice to see some Indonesian New Comers can advance to QF
as far as I know, Indonesia now is prepare some new young players, in WS they are LindaWeni Fanetri, Febby Angguni, and Ana Rovita,
    especially for Ana Rovita,
some Badminton Forumers in indonesia are now talking about her, and her previous performance in junior tournaments,
for skill she is same with Maria Kristin but (from info that I get from my friends that ever see her playing) she make too many unforced errors and her stamina is weak, so usually lost in rubber game,
but yesterday she can prove that she win over Fu Mingtian in rubber game,
hopefully she can play good today
    :)

Im laughing when WCH say 'im ready to lost,no reason for sony lost in here'

    Mky vs Ana
Ana so promising still 19,she beat Chen Jiayuan,Fu mingtian,And taipei.
but i think MKY will show her class here.

Djarum have Ana rovita and Feby Anguni ,both 19.Hope Djarum dont let them to Pelatnas.
They must still in Djarum for a few years again.

Ana also beat Ratchanok last year, bright future for ina ws.

I was also surprised to see the score stopped in the rubber and wondered what happened. Wong WK has been playing very well and now this explains the reason. But the reason that spectators requested TH not to continue with the rubber because they want to watch the World Cup must be unacceptable and I wonder whether the umpire and the referee actually allowed it.

    Can somebody please explain further?

I don't think Ana Rovita's stamina is bad, some people have wrong opinion abt her after Sirnas Bandung event when she retired in 3rd set against Febby Angguni.
The Bandung Sirnas Schedule was crazy, Semi Final & Final played a day with less one hour different. Some players finished the SF on 11 or 12 am and played in Final on 1 pm :eek:

can't believe that they wanted to watch these boring soccer matches - don't they know that the first real match's coming up on Sunday - early Jakarta evening:confused: after celebration of INA victories:D hopefully - ok, you know my hopes LOL:eek:
For today - sorry friends from INA - but I have to keep supporting Uncle Wong- and by the way- all of us should do so since his fighting spirit is unique and that's what we all want to see from the players:cool:
What else - MD - yep, can Nath manage the INA youngsters:confused: hopefully the other uncles Tony and Howard can progress to tomorrows matches as well:cool:
    let's see and hopefully enjoy
