Hello, Im from Oppland, Norway. Im not a member of any badminton club because it doesnt even exist one single club in oppland. But I play in my garden and in the school's gym with friends and family. I havent competed in any tournament because badminton is not particularily popular in Norway. I want to join the International Student Badminton Tournament (taking place in Tønsberg, Norway 11.-15. august), but Im not sure if I can, because the age requirement is 18, and Im only 17 this year Anyways, glad to be here! - Leisis

yes, welcome to the forum. i thought badminton was quite popular in all the scandinavian countries, though i must admit i don't know much about oppland. good luck finding a club, in any case.
Badminton is very popular in denmark, but not at all in norway for some reason Im not sure about how popular it is in sweden, but I've never seen a single swedish badminton athlete compete in any international competition.
There are past swedish winners of the all england, Eva Twedberg won the ladies singles in 68 and 71. quite a few swedish winners in the mixed doubles as well in the 80s. no norweigians though i'm afraid.
