Shuttle Machine For Badminton And Badminton Is Good And This Site Is Good And I M God hi, has ne one heard about the shuttle machine for badminton.. http://www.sport-teknik.se/index.htm there's a link of sum pix....i thought it was pretty cool... i m lookin for one but doesn't know where to buy it
That's a lot of money!!! If I were the manufacturer, I would design in the West and manufacture the machine in China.
I've recently looked into purchasing a machine of this type and the manufacturer is Wysong. They have not manufactured this shuttle feeder in some time so the only way to get one would be a used one. The danes have one at their training centre and I was looking at donating one to the Calgary Winter Club but have not been able to locate yet. If you find one or two let me know, or even if anyone knows of another manufacturer.
Shuttle machine My local club "Aura" located in southern Sweden has of these.. I watched it the other day when they were using it for the promising youths (I have neved used the machine myself). It's actually quite funny, it sounds like a machine that belongs somewhere in the garden. It builds up pressure from a generator.... and then... "Thump"..
Hey Cooler: I got an e mail back from the manufacturer. They still make the machine and it costs: $22,000 Cdn before shipping. I must have seen the same clip you did on the training centre in Denmark. Will Milroy and Justin Mulally use the machine in training and call it "Matilda" They say it's quite good for a while but the shuttle keeps going to the same spot the same way and you don't get the same effect as a human feeder. Great for learning a new stroke but if you wabt to use it in a game you still have to adjust to differing trajectory and speed all the time. For $22 Grand you can hire allot of humans.
Or just one human for half a year It'd be cheaper in many cases to buy one of these machines than to hire a coach's assitant to feed the birds.
