Was very surprised to see Hariyanto Arbi at the tournament venue - Woodlands Sports Hall. Last year's tournament venue is closed in preparation for the Youth Olympics. Uh, ts didn't update some of yesterday result. Somebody know about Felix/Edi result? And other INA players yesterday result as well. Evert Sukamta lost to experienced young KHG Wong Wing Ki. Good lesson. Shesar Hiren Rustavito lost to Niluka of Srilanka, sigh. Adi Pratama failed to upset veteran Shon Seung Mo. Riyanto won. Interesting match between Wei Nan and Yogendran Krisnan, the runner up of AUS GP, won by Wei Nan.
Unfortunately, Felix/Edi lost narrowly 26-24, 15-21, 22-24 to Shon Sheung Mo/Kang Dong Ho. Nevertheless, good experience playing the ex Olympics Silver-Medallist (albeit in MS). Meanwhile, Ericsson Rusdianto/Selvanus Geh also lost to Haswir Sahab/Rio Arif. I personally think Selvanus deserves a better partner than Ericsson.
In the XD that was played in the morning, Riky Widianto/Jenna Gozali continue their impressive form by beating the third-seed from HKG Leung Chun Yiu/Ng Ka Shun. However, they will face Lee Jae Jin/Yim Jae Eun next.
