Not really sure, it depends on how you are planning to smash it. Sledgehammer should work pretty well. On the other hand if you are looking for a racket to smash a birdie with then there are loads to choose from. What weight are you looking for, do you like even or head heavy and the consensus is that head heavy gives a better smash (though i still debate that due to other factors). What price range are you going for and what brands do you prefer?
If you have the strength and head speed then I'd say a stiff, head heavy racket would but you sacrifice speed to do it, especially in doubles.
Very truem if you want a doubles racket that you can get something out of to smash i would go with the Yonex AT900P or my fave at the mo the Arc 7.
an high end NS, like the 9000X or the 9900. If you can really put in, the racket can crank out huge smashes, and the recovery time is a bit less that that of head heavier rackets, usually.
Hi there Hristo, Even though getting the suitable type of racket is important in delivering a deadly smash, but then having the sound knowledge and correct technique will actually contribute the huge success in making your smash the better one. Since the level of gameplay varies from one individual to another, to identify the best racket for smashing varies a lot from the individual own perspective. Assuming that you have the correct technique, these are the top 8 rackets that i've used that myself consider can deliver the most satisfying smash outcome: 1. Yonex Armortec 700 2007 series 2. Yonex Armortec 900 Power GP 3. Apacs Lethal 60 4. Apacs Tantrum 200 5. Victor Brave Sword 8 6. Victor Super Wave 35 Power 7. SOTX Woven 9 8. RSL Diamond X1
Sorry Hristo, not 35 power, it is 33 power. 1. Apacs Lethal 70= is Apacs Lethal 60, only that 70 is the brand name targeted for Europe 2. Head weight L60/70 vs Sw35/Sw33P - L60/70 (bpm unstrung= 290+/- 3mm @ Head Heavy) = SW 35 (bpm unstrung=290+/-3mm@Head Heavy) - L60/70 (bpm unstrung= 290+/- 3mm @ Head Heavy) = SW 33P (bpm unstrung=290+/- 3mm@Head Heavy) 3. Stiffness L60/70 vs Sw35/33P - L60/70 stiffness (stiff) = SW 35 stifness (stiff) - L60/70 stifness (stiff) > Sw 33P stifness (between medium to stiff)
It's not the racket that is doing the smash for you, but you doing the smash . Agree. It is not the racket that is doing the smash for you, but you doing the smash with the racket. .
Seriously ... http://www.badmintoncentral.com/for...he-hardest-smashing-badass-racket-u-have-used (there should be at least one "best looking racquet" thread out there as well besides the recently created one)
