Lovebirds: Mak Hee Chun (right) and Leeny Luong.
Hee Chun, who met Leeny while she was the liaison officer during the Copenhagen Masters in 2008, will be hoping for a change of fortune when he resumes his partnership with Tan Wee Kiong.
Both Hee Chun and Wee Kiong will compete in this year’s Copenhagen Masters on Dec 27-29.
“I easily lose focus especially when I am leading in a game. This is the main weakness that I need to work on,” said Hee Chun, who was quick to dismiss that Leeny was not a distraction.
“She knows about the sport and is a great support for me. She is of Chinese and Vietnamese parentage. She is studying in Copenhagen and I am sure that she will be there later this month to support me.”
no wonder hw admitted he can't focus during the match la.. Perhaps he was thinking of going where to shopping after his match or what to do after his match.. He really needs to concentrate and focus in every match, men!
Hope he could play focusly in the CM

How to focus when his newly found GF is thousand miles away from Msia...? Wish them (the new couple) all the best

Yup, MHC hit the nail on the head as I remembered that he and TWK blew away a big lead(about 7 points) against Chai Biao/Zhang Nan in the Japan Open and lost the first game 19-21. Another pair who can easily lose focus is KKK/TBH.

time will tell whether he can cope with the extra pressure or not.
if he can, good for him.
if he can't, he has to make up his mind fast,
there are many below climbing that ladder
and mas do have several pairs of potential world beaters

MHC-TWK have a great chance to redeem themselves at Copenhagen Masters. At least if they don't win, put up a decent performance against INA & DEN pair which are of a different league.

I'm very disappointed in this pair. They were so promising, but what happened? What went wrong? Was it the Asian Games nightmare?
12-28-2010, 11:28 AM #407
well, they got knocked down by a bulldozer made in denmark

to be fair to them, chances are given to Fuzzy, OSH/HTH before
so MHC/TWK should be given chances to prove themself....either glory or embarrassment...
