just watched the match of the semi final.
    body building is great
    more muscle and more power
the only different between two pair was experience i would said.
mak doesnt show his characteristic which is quite unusual.
    anyway
with the strong field in macau open
let see how is their draw and how much they can do
    all the best

I agree. Looking forward for them to mature, I think the real problem here is no experience on the 'big' stage, easily under pressure when the sole ones standing. Either MAS needs a mental coach or the players need to overcome the mental block themselves, and that includes LCW.
Tan Kim Her himself said yesterday that Mak/Tan were under pressure. The duo played badly yesterday.

These two need more exposure la, same with Chan/Lim and Goh/Teo, those two also quite decent.

They obviously were under pressure and was nervous today. They couldn't play normally and couldn't eliminate Alvent as a threat at the net (Wow, I can't count how many times Alvent killed the ball because of forced poor return)
However, they had touches of brilliance in 2 or 3 rallies where they dominated control or was totally amazing in defence. They need to be more consistent, gain more exposure and learn how to cope with the pressure. Then, they can rise up to be stars.
I would say next year if they want to gain a title, GP Gold. Good luck! You two are still my favourite pair!

I always look things at the positive side of it,.....until they play with bad attitude, like lost their interest in the game or do not improve aftyer few year....then i will considered them as useless like the fuzzy and maybe kkk/tbh.

The field in the Macau Open is very strong, if they get bad draw, we can only hope for upset. I hope they can make at least the QF for the Macau Open, but first have to see draw also. They need to meet strong opponents in order to improve their mental strength and so on. They had no pressure against KKK/TBH because they both played each other so many times in training.

I am abit surprised, though. How come Mak/Tan under pressure, when both have been winners at the junior level? Mak did not seem to show being under pressure at all when winning the 2008 WJC and TWK also like no pressure winning the 2007 AJC XD

You know how much I want to see Mak/Tan play up to their true level...
But looks like I have to wait a bit more...
Copenhagen Masters against Lars/Jonas was not good...
National Grand Prix Gold against Choong/Lee was also not good...
Now I watch this one, also play quite badly...

Why must all three matches that I watch them lose and not play up to potential at all?

    1) Junior different from Senior
    2) We have already said, Mak/TWK did not play to their real potential/normal standard. Their standard is at least 2.5 times better than what they displayed in the semis

Go watch them play live undeadshot, then you can see more of their matches.

Yes Limsy, Mak HC was not his usual aggressive self and TWK looked like too scared to take ALvent on at the net. Btw, TWK nowadays sometimes play shots like TBH does

Despite beating the world no. 1 in semis, losing like that in final is really ashamed.

Best reason to comfort ourselves, Mak/Tan still young, inexperience, no chance to play in India GP.....
give them more time and chance...so we shall see....
Btw, we had too high expectations on them....of coz is good...but you have to learn on how to
deal with Mas players....or else you will end up with disappointment more....

Well, I will be waiting for the Macau Open. Hopefully the draw is not too tough for them there.
Even if it is, I will be cheering for an upset but they can learn a lot.
