Yes, I agree the men's version is bland and ugly, the women's shoe is a bit colourful and looks better. What's wrong with Asics?

I tried this shoe on, size 8 uk, but it felt tight at the side, due to my feet being a bit wide. Tried 8.5, too long. Don't understand why they don't cater for people with slightly wide feet.

Well bought this shoe and played a session with it this early evening but ended up with a slight bruise on my right foot, near my big toe. After the session I examined the shoe and found that it has a rough patch inside the shoe which rubs against the skin, when playing. This only affects the right feet shoe.

It seems this range Gel Blade 3 has a design fault, as I have checked other Gel Blade 3 shoes, they all have this rough texture in the right foot shoe. I never experianced this with my past Yonex shoes. Now have to return it and get back to good old Yonex again but which Yonex model, previously I had shb-200. Before you buy Gel Blade 3, check it out.

London_Player, may I know what size you are wearing for SHB200 and the Gel Blade 3? I am trying to gather more information of the sizing before purchasing Gel Blade 3 online...

I just bought this shoe. I think it is fantastic. Very lighweight, great breathability and very comfortable. The version i got are white/red and i think they are quite nice - but do agree that the ladies colourway is slightly better! Havent noticed London players design fault. I'm very pleased so far and hope that when i have played in them a little more they will feel even better. I am normally a size 7.5 UK and that is the size i have got and they are fine. My shortlist comprised, Asics Gel Blast 3, this model, Yonex 200 and 101s. Came down to money in the end and at £44.50 delivered i feel i got a bargain. I would definitely recommend them. Hope that helps

I shortlisted the Blade 3 and the Blast 3 but in the end opted for the Blast 3. These are a fantastic shoe, very comfortable and very stable when moving around the court and changing direction quickly.

Blade 3 quite a good pair of shoes for badminton. Tried it just now..although the overall feel is slightly thinner than SHB101, Asics is just too good with their cushioning. Don't feel a thing at all on all landing and there are no complaints at all from my knees.

Only big difference is lateral support. SHB101 lateral support is better as there are 2 lateral claws on the side. Blade 3 don't fare to bad either but since there are no claws, just don't have the feel of something is slightly digging into foot. BTW I weight around 98 ~ 100kg

Finally gotten a better and proper badminton shoes. These are amazing. Cushioning are good. My game seem to improve too! Able to reach shots that i previously couldnt. And the color orange is a little unique compared to others.
