I got my Z-Slash like.... 6 months ago.. X_X some paint chips here and there but not many.. Recently I got my strings tensioned at 24 and a week ago, I noticed that the head shape is kind of deformed .:confused:On one side of the racket, the corner of it is kind of bending inwards(hardly noticeable).. Would I be able to send it back to Yonex? ( I have warranty but im not sure when it expires!)Also I cut the strings cause I'm scared its gonna get worse and I kept it somewhere safe so nothing happens to it D:
BTW! usually how long are warranties before they expire?

Where did you purchase the racket from? Who strung it for you? At 24lbs, quite sure it was because of a poor stringing job (unless you clashed the racket before). Do post pictures and we'll be able to tell.

with that clash and paint chipped, not so sure that you are able to claim warranty. you may try but will be hard.

It is very very slight but i can see it. Could you explain something:

    1) Is this the first time you have had it restrung?
    2) Did you notice the bend before or after you strung at 24lb?
    3) Have you even clashed rackets or hit it against the ground?

Err nope that was the 2nd time it was restrung, There wasn't any bend before it was strung at 24 lb and I have hit it on the ground maybe once or twice but it wasn't like major

Might be a slight defect, maybe, what tension was it strung at before?

Even if it is a defect, I'm not too sure if they will replace your racket if it has been clashed and paint has been chipped off but it is worth a try.

Go back to the store with the ArcSaber...
Give it to the one who sold the Z slash...and ask him or she sent the racket to local Yonex company ...apply for broken check...
24bls is in the range of ArcSaber Z slash...
Normaly 19~24bls...you can see on the rackets...
ps,my poor English...I hope I could help you...

of course coz the frame is smaller...i even warn my stringer about that (who am i...lol) after asking for discount from him...ahaha...and i compare again with the instruction after getting home even he said player around germany send to him...and he was doing the right job...
i am more coutious coz my friend broke his string just after several smash with his z-slash...lucky huh...even before that he was mumbling that the stringer did a wrong job...so be careful...

just remember him that string pattern for z slash is different and try to memorize the technique i.e. whr the string will overlap/cross each other...its the best when u can sense if there any failure yourself

and if the racket/string broke coz of string failure then of course you can claim warranty from him....but of course the break can caused by anything...if he was right then maybe the tension is too much...or you have clashed ur racket wif anything else
