Hi to all Calgary badminton players out there,

I've just recently moved to Calgary and would really like to check out any badminton places in town. Would really appreciate it if there are any recommendation for places that are transit friendly? I lived around 16th ave and Edmonton trail at NE. Any recommendations? Any level besides elite works fine for me ;)

    Hope to hear from everyone:)

    Cheers,

    Alan

SAIT sounds good to me. I think I'll check it out sometime next week. When do you usually play in SAIT?

    University of Calgary badminton club

I will start again Friday, September 17. Check out their website @ http://ucbadminton.blogspot.com/.

If you are doing drop-in, you need to get a reservation. (Just sending a email to say you are going).

    Hi Kenny,

I just registered for UoC badminton and I'll be there on the 17th.^^ I've tried it out a couple of times and find it very challenging and I love it. SAIT is good too quite social with a good work out associated in it. I think I'll visit UoC on Tuesday and Friday while I'll do SAIT on Sunday.

You have to go to the kinesiology website of UoC and then register under badminton clubs. If you can't find it try google UoC badminton club and on their blog they have a detail instruction to that. Hope to see you there. :)

I went on the 17th too. But I don't know what you look like, is your real name chang haw? I will be at UofC tonight, maybe I see you there.

I want to try SAIT as well. What time do they play on Sunday? Do you think you can introduce me to the club the next time you go. My cell is 403 629 9133 if you don't mind getting in touch.

    Thanks

    Kenny
