Can Zul go to round 4 for MAS Junior? Many BJSS and some backups, that's great. They need exposure.

But Ow Yao Han still seems to be with Yew Hong Kheng... and Chooi with Pang. I thought they said Ow and Yew were to go separate ways earlier after they won the WJC?

The expectation is high on the INA Pratama pairs to deliver here. But competition will be intense in MD. Pelatnas Pratama & PB Djarum are sending their full team in MD!

    A couple of early tussles:
Didit Juang Indrianto/Seiko Wahyu Kusdianto vs Praveen Jordan/Rangga Yave Rianto - terrible draw. Jordan/Rangga are pitted against their seniors right at the start. Let's see whether the younger pair can deliver. They are expected to be INA's no 1 BD pair in the AJC & WJC next year!

Mohd Lutfi Zaim Abdul Khalid/Vountus Indra Mawan [6] vs Rizki Yanu Kresnayandi/Albert Saputra - a tough one for Rizki/Albet.

Adi Andrianus Prasojo/Robin Gonansa [8] vs Dandi Prabudita/Jones Ralfy Jansen - ditto for Dandi/Jones.

Ericsson Rusdianto/Selvanus Geh vs Mohd Nur Rofi'l/Subhan Hasan - it does look like Ericsson/Selvanus are also being prepared by Suryanaga for next year's AJC and WJC.

Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo/Arya Maulana Aldiartama vs Ng Sun Ly/Soo Kar Seong - wow....I was quite surprised to see their names in the main draw. This represents Kevin Sanjaya's first international and BWF tourney! Kevin is only turning 15 this year and he has already won numerous titles in the U-17 division in Sirnas. He's being promoted to U-19 just recently but obviously, results didn't turn out to be as good as what he wanted to! But he WILL BE INA's prospective BD (and eventually MD) player in the near future. If his progress in U-19 turns out to be as what is planned, we can see him playing in AJC & WJC as early as in 2 years time when he turns 17!

Kelvin Ho Ying Chong/Eugene Sng Jing Feng vs Edi Subaktiar/Felix Kinasal - Edi/Felix have recently done well by winning one Sirnas title! They are also expected to be competing for the 2-3 slots in BD for AJC & WJC next year!

Lukhi Apri Nugroho/Rizky Susanto vs Tunggu Mursito/Hadi Yustian - another promising pair Lukhi/Rizky are also in the Draw. They have yet to win any Sirnas title up to now, but, they have always managed to progress to at least QF-SF.

Yeah....we will hope that he will become very awesome in the near future.

He's actually very upset at the recent losses he received in the past 2 tourneys at U-19 Level (which was kinda normal because he and Arya are still inexperienced at U-19 level). That should be the spirit boy! Don't be contented at being winners at U-17. U should strive to be the best in U-19 and ultimately the senior level too.

Upset!!! Tee Jing Yi lost! Rizky must be pretty good to beat her.

Lets see how Goh Soon Huat plays against Tommy, and how Zul and Iskandar fare.

TJY is actually number 5, thats why she caused an upset by beating TJY. I rate TJY behind a fit Julia Wong, Wong Mew Choo, Lydia and Sonia. Since Julia still seems out, I would say TJY is no.4 now.

Quite shock too that Rizky Amelia tamed Tee JY relatively easy, considering Rizky recent poor performance.

Another shock was Ery/Claudia lost to MAS single specialist, Sanatasah/Lim. They just can't keep good performance from last week at Singapore IS. Sigh.

Just realized that there were redraw for MS, WS, MD and XD. The draw in www.tournamentsoftware.com is different with draw at www.badmintonasia.org

I believe it was caused by several mistake in seeding, since in previous draw there were relatively high ranking player is unseeded.

It's not too surprising to see Jones/Dandi losing to Ruben Gordown Khosadalina/Stenny Kusuma as the later pair is more experienced than them, esp Ruben, who has been playing for many countries in the past. In any case, there's a huge possibility that Jones/Dandi will be split up...the same goes for Didit/Seiko (who lost narrowly yet again). Jones/Didit is a possible pairing in the near future.

Meanwhile, Rizki Yanu Kresnayandi/Albert Saputra continue their excellent form in Sirnas and Singapore IC by beating the WJC winner in straight-sets. Another tough match awaits Rizki/Albert....in the form of Danny Bawa Chrisnanta/Setia Atmaja Pribadi. Andrei Adistia/Rachmat Ardianto also beat a MAS pair.
