Hi Folks, I just bought this for €5, thought it looked a bit classic, and wondering if I have something genuine/good? thanks in advance.
It's highly doubtfull it's actually from 1979 (quite certainly not actually). Probably it's one of the last before Yonex introduced their current logo looking at the (italic) font used for "Carbonex" (1990+). Well it's brand new and it's old logo and definitely worth more than a fiver but nothing astronomical I would say, just keep it for yourself . The 1st generation (~1979) came in green, yellow and orange, now that I'd imagine in the same condition would fetch a premium . Great bargain you got there in any case . thanks demolidor, I might just put it in the attic and forget about it. maybe in 50 years on account of its good condition it might become a collectors item. Again thanks for your insight, much appreciated
