    hi guys,
i'm planning to give the Bg80 a try from using Bg65, i usually string my Bg 65 to 27-28lbs, what would be the equivalent approximate tension on BG80

    thanks in advance

BG-65 doesn't usually come alive until higher tensions similar to what you're stringing at. I'd suggest BG-80 at 25-26lbs. It's a hard feeling string so even at 2lbs lower tension, it might feel tighter than what you're accustomed to. Also, BG-65 loses a lot of tension so after a few sessions, you are probably playing with something around 25-26lbs.

    thx,
ya i feel that after a few hours, the bg65 becomes quiet loose, so i'm basically looking for the tension where the Bg 80 will feel like a freshly strung bg65 for a period of time(after it has lost the initial tension... if that makes any sense...
the problem is i live at a remote part of the world, and stringers here tend to refuse to string over 27-28, so i'm thinking of changing to Bg80 to compensate for the low tension...
