Just wondering....the guy that Hendrawan lost to - YohanHadikusumo. Is he Johan Hadi Kusuma formerly from Indonesia??? I have not heard from Johan for quite some time now, maybe he has moved to HK???
I am sure that Chen Hong is quite happy and would prefer to play an unknown qualifier than the defending world champion. Ron
Park Sung Hwan qualifies from Gp 4 and meets Chen Hong. Park was last year's Asian Junior champ and the tall bespectacled youngster plays in the mould of Park Joo Bong. Instead of Hendrawan Chen Hong has to contend with a stubborn Korean younster and perhaps a very street wise Msian younster.
Yes, that is correct. He is representing HKG now (for the past 8 months) Results in singles not outstanding. Pity he couldn't make it to the final but tiredness may have been an issue since the match with Hendrawan was 3 games. 3 matches in one day is pretty tough as a qualifier. I doubt Park will get far against Chen Hong. Johan also playing doubles as well. There was an interview in the paper that he has has to adapt to different training.
