    Hello everybody !

As the title suggests it, I want to buy a new racket.

To begin, a short presentation :

I am a french badminton player. I began to play seriously 4 years ago (but I take my first licence 12 years ago...). Globally, I produce a defensive play, but I can play aggresive, because I have a good smash and a very good net play. I am an all-round player.

Currently, I have 3 rackets : one AT 700 LTD, and two MP 99. I have very good sensations with these rackets, and more particulary with the AT 700. The only problem is the difficulty to play with this racket because after 2 or 3 matches, I must switch with the MP 99. I look for a racket more tolerant than the AT 700, but possessing an equivalent power.

In the Yonex collection, I retained 4 models : the Arc 10 and the Arc ZS in priority, the AT 900 P and Arc 8DX in a second plan. Are these rackets more accessible than the AT 700 ?

If you know other brand's rackets which can correspond, don't hesitate to announce me it :) !

    Thank you in advance.

PS : Sorry for my approximate english language :(

    Bonjour

I don't know if France have access to Li Ning. The last time i went don't seem to see any Li Ning badminton products. (Maybe i too busy looking for parfum and Prada haha)
If you like your AT700, try N90 of Li Ning.
    Just a thought.

I think the headheavyness and the weight of the AT700 is your problem. If you are using a 3U version of the AT700, you can try a 4U version. The AT900P would be a good second choice, because it's close to the AT700 but not that headheavy.

The Arcsaber series would be closer to the MP99. If you are a doubles player, the Arc 8DX would be a good choice. Second choice the Arc 10. If you are a singles player, then you may want to choose between the Arc 10 and the Arc ZS.

If you can try out the rackets, you should. Because the rackets are still different than the one's you are using.

Almost forget, Mizuno Tetracross 700, good old faithful that is comparable with AT700, if not better.
Furthermore, Shuttle-house Japan is clearing out old stock of TC700 with 50% discount! (Making way for new color version of TC700). Last check yesterday about 66 units left in their ex-stock.

Thanks for your answers :). I will try most of these rackets. Concerning the Mizuno Tetracross 700, I didn't find a retailer. Where can I buy it ?
I tried an other racket : the NS9900. Do you think this racket can replace one of my MP 99 ?

i always thought the mp series was closer to the arc series, but since ns9900 is sorta banlenced too, u just need to be able to flex that xstiffer :0

I have already tried the NS9900, and I haven't problems to play with. The MP 99 was really easy to play with. Do you think the Arc 10 or the Arc ZS are as easy to play with as the MP 99 ?

the arc z is a beast if u have really good technique and mostly hits the birdy in the sweetspot all the time, otherwise the arc 10 is a good overall racket

This is what I recommend if you want something less demanding than the AT700 and yet moves well and has good power.

    Yonex : AT900P, Arc10, Arc8DX
    Babolat : X-Feel Power
    Li Ning : N90 II, N50 II, N55
    Victor : SW33P, SW35
    Mizuno : TC700

i believe the first version is slightly head heavier and lin dan uses it while the 2nd version offers better control and defence
