    Hey guys,

I've been using BG90 / ZM67 pretty religiously for a couple of years, but having never tried a thinner string I thought I'd restring all my rackets (save for one, just in case) with BG66M and give it a go.

    My usual stringing is 24x26lbs.

I haven't broken a string in 2 years so I'm not a big hitter or hard on strings.

I was wondering what tension I should use to keep similar characteristics to BG80, but also to bring out the positive characteristics of the thinner string.

    Any suggestions?

Bg-66 maxima should be a good choice. I'm currently using this string and found out the durability and power is there;)

Hold on, you've been using BG-80 and ZM-67 and haven't broken them after TWO years of play?!

Geez, you want me to summarise all the changes to stringing I've done to all my six rackets in two years?? Sorry for doing a quick summary, I didn't realise what I was doing was a full blown critique of every stringing and racket combo I've ever done.

No, I've never broken a string. I change them quite regularly because I like experimenting, hence this thread.

Try bg65 at 30lbs. It stretches and becomes thin, ending up to feel like nbg98 or bg66 at 28lbs or so.
