Do any of you guys know why there is no formal product review of the MP 90/99 in the product review section of this forum? It strikes me as odd, as so many people have already tried it out and are very eager to post some comments about it.

If any of the forum moderators should read this, perhaps you could create a review post for that particular racquet.

MP99 2U -- Yucky bright ugly yellow. Ultimum frame and shaft. Extra power from the frame with wrist strokes. Good balance and moderately stiff flex. I like it a lot :).

How is that for a quick review :D.

    Cheers,
    Ron

MP-90/99 - Great for doubles but lacks the big punch offered by MP-100 and Ti-10. Others may have a different opinion. Maneuverability is awesome in tight and fast flat punches and net shots situation.

Yeh, me too. It looks alot better than the MP100 but I like the silver colour of the MP77.

The racquet is good and delivers alot of power. I would consider it just stiff and the MP100 being extra stiff. It is a rather light racquet as the weight is pretty much balanced. The control seems good as well and it is a fairly balanced out racquet.

Be warned, the MP99 have been notorious for being cracked from light clashes or just randomly.

Actually, I prefer the red/black of the older MP55 in looks. In preference for playing, it is MP99 followed by MP77 and then MP55.

    MP 99 2U.

Great power for clears but its still a little slow, maneuvearbility-wise. I am having trouble converting from a 3U racket.

I'm not a good smasher so I will not comment on smashing capabilities.

I have used the MP90 2U for the past 3 mos. and I agree with Pete LSD's review. Yudoms last comment is also vital since I think the Yonex's MP series are a bit sensitive causing them to break more easily than their Ti series. Overall, its a great racket though :)
