Question Please please help me to choose!!

    Hi!
Im a badminton beginner. Pretty dreadful at the moment, but Im doing my best. Im thinking of buying a first racket and dont have a clue which one to buy! I was reading recommendations but got even more confused. It's my first racket, Im a beginner and dont have too much cash to spend, so dont want anything too expensive or fancy... Does anyone have any recommendations? Thank you!!

So far I cant decide between FZ N-Forze 14 Slim, http://shopping.tribesports.co.uk/ba...dminton-racket or http://shopping.tribesports.co.uk/ba...dminton-racket ... Is spending £30-40 is enough for a first racket??

the first one seems better since it has a flexy shaft and pretty head light which any beginner can get decent power from. but if feel ur a bit more advanced for it then go for an apac or the 2nd option

rather then focusing too much on the racket, u should be looking for a decent pair of badminton shoes and finding out the ideal string tension/string suited for u

I was looking at shoes too... any particular ones you'd recommend me to check out? or does it depend on my personal preferences entirely? do I just need to go for something that feels right?

I want to spend about £100... is that enough? is there any other essentials i need to get apart from racket, shoes and shuttlecocks?

thanks guys! that was a massive help. i actually bought a racket over the weekend. I decided to go with Ashaway Nano Dynamic 80 http://shopping.tribesports.co.uk/ba...dminton-racket . Figured I can't go too wrong with it: medium flex, medium weight... and cheap! Need to buy shoes next...

jus get a racket under 100 grams and you will be fine. focus on badminton shoes first. my first pair where yonex shb 57. quickly grew out of them but there was a considerable difference when i started using them... when u get them walk around in them in the e.g. house to 'break in' the leather to make it more comfortable when playing and avoiding blisters... very painful...believe me...
