Thanks for the links/videos suetyan

Let me check again, it's an old model already and not in the new catalogues anymore. But even now the price I saw it at yesterday made me forget already
. Still above 10,000 Yen even with >~30% discount. The new heat capsule models are much cheaper
And same colour available: 489
I think these are good alternatives: http://sportsman.jp/shop/sports/prod...28/mtd-12_010/ & http://item.rakuten.co.jp/racket/70024/ First one VeryCool model though ...
Are you confusing something?

Now you know why the video is only 2 seconds?

No, no! Not three matches in one day. I said three matches per category per day. So theoretically, a player may play up to nine matches a day if he or she enters three categories and there are too many entrants. This is usually not the case now, but the number of entrants may increase with the imminent increase of prize moneyLast edited by phil-mm; 11-14-2010 at 09:51 PM.

Ok, now I'm really confused. I distinctly remember singles players having to play 3 qualification matches in one day. 32 qualifiers for 4 places. 60 players. An example is the Djarum Indonesia Open 2008. http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sp...C30369&draw=11. Apparently, they must have already changed the system. 16 qualifiers for 4 places. 44 players. Maximum 2 matches a day. LOL, I haven't noticed it

. I wonder whether it's feasible to start the matches on Monday to allow for more entries?

..yeah, there you go..It depends..
Generally, most BWF tournaments will last between 5-6 days (start on Tuesday). If there are many entries, usually they will have 1 full day of Qualification Rd. The QF Rds. themselves will have different number of entries. And because of this variance, it's hard to say how many matches, in a QF Rd., a player or pair will play from one tourney to another. So, it's not so much because the system has changed.
As for matches starting on Monday and last for 7 days, the only other exception where this would occur is usually during World Championships and Olympics. But those tourneys don't have any QF Rd as they start with R32 (in all 5 events).Last edited by ctjcad; 11-15-2010 at 02:37 PM.
