Today, Misaki tried to make it into the main draw of the 2010 China Open SS; but failed.

At the qualifying rounds, Misaki was defeated by CHN junior player, Deng Xuan, 21-9, 22-20 in 31 minutes.

At the current 2010 China Open SS tournament, Misaki Matsutomo with partner, Ayaka Takahashi, performed well in the Womens Doubles event.

In Round 1, they defeated China's Lu Lu/Bao Yixin, 21-19, 17-21, 21-18 in 67 minutes.
In Round 2, they defeated China's Luo Yin/Luo Yu, 21-13, 19-21, 21-17 in 76 minutes.
