For a while, Misaki/Ayaka looked like they had a strong chance for London 2012 after a series of good performances. But Mizuki/Reika and Mami/Shizuka probably panicked and they then played very well too . It's going to a big fight for a place.
Well, there's always the XD to fall back on .

They defeated Mohd Shahrizam Andy/Soong Fie Cho (MAS) 21-13, 21-19 in just 20 minutes.

At the 2011 Malaysia Open GP Gold, Nova Widianto/Vita Marissa narrowly defeated Kenichi Hayakawa/Misaki Matsutomo in Round 1, with scores of 20-22, 21-10, 23-21 in 46 minutes.

For KH/MM to have made experienced pair Nova Widianto/Vita Marissa worked hard; they have performed well.
