Another Kenny G's saxophone that I like; It's the "The Joy of Life".

It just makes me want to get up from sitting still on a chair to move about, like walking, running, etc......

Funny isn't it? Music and songs can affect our mood.

BTW, "The Joy of Life" is in YouTube. Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d_vtL...eature=related

Default Karaoke in a Guangzhou open-air public park

I was in Guangzhou for the Asian Games recently and was surprised to witness a sprightly group of mainly senior citizens and mostly ladies, singing in the open park just opposite our hotel.

Just below a huge tree with spreading branches, was a giant iron wire stand holding flip sheets with numeric scores and lyrics in Chinese to assist in the singing. The male music leader was on hand to guide his friends and some of them led with mikes while others join in to sing unabashedly. It was a joy to behold karaoke singing in the park.

BTW I recently learned that singing, especially with the head tone, helps to delay the onset of dementia for senior citizens.

That's wonderful, isn't it? Singing in an open park reminds me of Christmas Carols in the park.

My friend, you have an extra 'la'. Try to sing it out.
The last two "la"s should have two beats, i.e. one beat longer than the previous "la"s.

    Hope you get it lah!

    No need lah.

Just by tapping our fingers on the table, we will get to find out how many "la"s there are.

Not only with one "AH", but can be with many (inserted everywhere throughout the song).

Sirs, yes it is included (ah)...but several ''ah''s is a bit on the naughty side if that's the kind of fun you're trying to incite.

    chriss-ccc, since u r seemingly a karaoke-type kind...try karaokeing Maroon V's songs...let's start with ''Wont' go Home without You''.

Btw, the other day, (pardon my ignorance) for the first time, I heard grunge-music and I thought...how do you karaoke it?
