Smashing....

    Hi Help needed here experts...
    My smash is pretty fast...
    But I want to know how to use my wrist 110%..
    I think i am not using my wrist good enough to make shuttle faster..
    So experts pleaz some tips for me plaez..

    well, first off i can't help you cuz 110% is impossible...


    anyway, just strengthen your wrist (lots of topics about that if you search) and get your timing down.... the smash is supposed to be done by your entire body though, not just your wrist...

    You're right...I've been at 109% for the longest time 110% just seems out of reach ;) :D

    Well, for one I know that if you tend to not use your wrist and more of an arm smasher, your wrist sort of get really tense and therefore it isn't loose. So one thing is to remember to keep it loose. If you can video tape yourself smashing, that would be a great way to find out what you need to adjust and what not since pictures speak for thousands of words.

    yup, yodums is right,
    keep your wrist loose and you're get the power... the power comes from loose to tense... not all tense...
    also put all your weight...t in your racquet foot and transfer it to the other one when you smash...
    one more thing is to get behind of the bird.... if the bird is behind you.... you won't get much power smashing and probably not a good idea to smash...
