    "HSFC mission is to provide quality health care, mental health services and required ancillary services to the homeless, poverty level and low-income residents of Silver Lake, Echo Park, East Hollywood and neighboring communities of Los Angeles. These communities are in most desperate need; the majority is at the 200% or below Federal Poverty Level."


    VENUE: Student Activities Center Gym and John Wooden Center. Measures have been taken to minimize glare. Campus map and directions are available at http://www.ucla.edu/map. Daily parking permits ($10) are available inside parking lot 4 (entrance from Sunset Blvd.) in the pay by space area.

    EVENTS: A, B, C, D flights. Women's Singles, Men's Singles, Women's Doubles, Men's Doubles, Mixed Doubles for all flights. All matches, 3x21 format rally scoring. Consolation matches will be one game of 21. Everyone is guaranteed two games. (ie: Losing your first match puts you in the consolation bracket) Women are allowed to play in Men's events but Men are NOT allowed to play in Women's events.

    FEES: $25 for first event, $20 for the second event, and $15 for the third. LATE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Each participant receives one FREE raffle ticket per registered event and also receives a FREE T-shirt for registering in 2 or more events.

    SHUTTLECOCKS: Two feather shuttlecocks provided per match for all main draw matches. Consolation bracket will be provided with one shuttlecock per match up until semi-finals. Please bring your own additional shuttlecocks.

    ENTRY: Maximum 3 events. One must play at the level of the higher ranked player (i.e. C/D team must play in C or higher). We reserve the right to make any necessary changes. All entries postmarked by October 8th. No refunds after October 8th.

    SCHEDULE: Saturday: Warmups/Registrations starts at 9:00 am. Play starts at 9:30 am. Sunday: Warmups starts at 9:00 am. Play starts at 9:30 am. More detailed schedule information will be posted on touranmentsoftware.com as soon as it is available. Court warm-ups limited to 5 minutes. 10-minute default rule STRICTLY enforced.

    AWARDS: $300 for first place for all A events, $150 for all A events runner-up. Prizes for A consolation. Prizes awarded to first, second, and consolation for all B, C, D events. Awards will be given to the winners on Sunday.

    RAFFLE:
    Conducted throughout Saturday and Sunday. Additional tickets on sale for $1. Prizes include racket bags, T-shirts, tubes of shuttlecocks, strings, and grips.

    FOOD:
    Cold drinks and snacks will be sold on site. On campus restaurants will be open.
