Hey I might be looking to upgrade my current YY AT900T, anyone has a suggestion to what is somewhat comparable, but of very good quality?

I'm open to all brands, but no Apacs, Mizuno, etc. since it is really hard to come by here in Europe.
    So mainly: Yonex/Victor/Li-Ning

    Regards

sorry, there are no upgrades to the 900. You can only downgrade.

I'm just looking for something that kind of compares to it, not an upgrade in quality, I want to find my ultimate racket, because i have the feeling that I'm 'only' around 90%. The 900T is by far the best and most enjoyable racket I've had so far.

    You can try AT900P or Arc10 ;)

The only one for you is to try Voltric 70. Otherwise NS9.9K to an extreme repulsive part but downgrade in head heaviness. AT900P and Arc10 is the opposite of what you are use to in terms of Hold vs. repulsion. You can just downgrade a little to AT700 right smack down in the middle.

All in All keep AT900 T or Trade for Voltric 70

I dont think there is a YY racket like AT900T except for AT800D which will be a downgrade for you. Here's a list of racket that i tried which i think offers something for someone coming from AT900T:

    Carlton VTT
    LN90II
    Flypower Warrior 8
    Wilson Vertex BLX

You may also wait for the Voltric which i heard is to replace the AT series.

Try a Panda Power Trinity. Choose the BP and weights that you think would make a difference. I was a AT900T user myself.

The AS-10 is a horrible racket imo, it's incomplete to me, NS9900 isn't my racket either. I was thinking about the Voltric as well, should test the Panda and the N90 though. And what about the AS-8DX? And the Z? And what about the N70/N55/N50? And the Braveswords, are they any good?

N90 would be more head heavy compare AT900T, Arc8DX wont be far from Arc10 IMO, ArcZS will be a good choice but bear in mind it has a smaller head and longer shaft. The rest of the LN and BS series i heard they are really good, but never tried them though.

Stick with AT900T and change the grip and tension or
    Trade for Voltric 70.

Other racquet you don't want to use because they're tweaked away from what you really want. AT900T is a good head heavy enough to not make your arm and wrist tired yet repulsive enough. I think you want a little more repulsive power and keep the same head heaviness. Remember tweaking tension lbs can adjust a little more head heavy or lighter. Now its just the matter of the racquet material that can make the string even more repulsive or more hold. In this case near 90% of your potential especially for doubles, you are looking for a fair bit more repulsion with new technology. That said = perhaps High ends of voltric

Try to test the N70 and N90II: the N70 is what Cai Yun used after the 900T, so maybe it'll suit you as well, and the N90II is a racket with great repulsion imo, but not as head-heavy as the N90. The N90 would definitely be too head-heavy for most doubles players, its like the AT700 in that aspect - head-heaviest racket I've come across so far. I'm really comfortable playing the N90II in doubles, but I prefer the N50II. Try and ask around to test rackets, even though it's a bit of a bother, you'll be glad if it saved you the 130-160€ you'd spend on a racket you're not happy with.
Oh, and a Panda Power Trinity is really different from the 900T, it's quite head-light. So maybe not a good option if you didnt like the NS9900.

I would have to agree. The Trinity is a very nice racket, but nothing like the 900T. My 294 Trin feels headlight compared to my 900T :)
Maybe you should try the new Panda Precision. It's based on the 900T :)

Arc8DX was great for me, comming from the 900T. Bit less head heavy, but you won't feel any lack of power :) Same unparallel control IMO.

Well the Precision is gonna have a bp of less then 290mm so it's gonna be even more headlight then the trinity and AT900t and probably less stiff as well.

Weren't most T2's well below 290 as well? Only the one batch had abnormally more headheavy (290+) T2's afaik/paid attention. Here's the original specs http://img413.imageshack.us/img413/7563/pp2ndgen.jpg Or maybe the anorexic batch originally send to Mark has influenced my perception of it :p.

"280-295" Making 295 an extreme one ;) (285-290 was the original plan I guess but with all the deviations 280-295 range was more like it; the Europe batch was littered with 282mm bp <84gr ones aka the anorexic batch :D). Intended range for Precision is 280-290, with 285 the target. Wouldn't be unthinkable some 290+ ones show up this time as well ...

    And for Dokkie: Bravesword 10/11?

Dokkie, please consider trying a Victor SW35, I used to use a AT900T, but the SW35 beats the AT900T in every area IMO.:)
