I'm going to buy new shoes. And my friend offer me this SHB101. But I'm not sure its the real SHB 101. Here is the pic : Is it real or fake??
Fake ones ... http://www.avenuedusport.com/catalog/images/Image/YonexSHB101M.jpg Also there should be "YY Yonex" on the shoelace instead of just "Yonex" not to mention it's not the correct lettertype for Yonex. And the size is incorrect I would say , 26.5cm surely has to be size 42 at most. Still have to make sure since I see this as well http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?77623-FS-Yonex-SHB101-M-(PJ-KL-Mas)
Then again: http://www.badmintoncentral.com/for...Yonex-SHB-101-MX-size-9-(US)-Vancouver-Canada ? But definitely the size label is not correct and the shoelaces. Where are those 101MX owner's when you need them!?
Thanks for the answer. I dont buy it yet. I doubt about this shoes, so I ask in BC. This is my friend's shoes. Thanks
Interesting point re. the distance between the hole for the first lace and the 4 silver stripes. I see the same design on sohubuy (http://www.sohubuy.com/viewphoto.asp?id=23408).
Yes, well the arrows are not really for the distance. Just pointing out the silver part for the last hole has got grooves and in the other one it doesn't. But the one on Sohubuy doesn't have grooves either and in other pictures there don't seem to be grooves either. The JP versions definitely have grooves but they don't have the blue one with only one tophole http://shuttle-house.com/PAGE_top_JAPANESE/MAIL_ORDER/category/YONEX/SHOES/SHB101MD_b.jpg So ... really the best person to answer is a SHB101MX owner (but definitely the shoelace and sizetable are wrong)
Fake... Look at the the first lace hole ( at the tongue of the shoe ), the lace goes OVER them.. its supposed to go UNDER... In short the LACING PATTERN is wrong.. I have 3 SHB101MX and my partner has a Limited Edition. And the lacing pattern for all of them was the same. The lateral claw looks too much off center...
And what picture are you referring to? The only pic with laces going through the tophole is a stock Yonex pic ... (besides the fact lacing patterns have nothing to do with genuinity as everyone can do it their own way). Having laces coming out for your catalogue pic doesn't exactly look neat . But I agree you should probably lace them the other way around (like in the catalogue pic with exception of the tophole but that's just for the picture)
One thing that is quite obvious in fake Yonex shoes is the insole. If you can compare the insole of original and fake one at the same time, there is a vast difference especially the reverse side of the insole. The original insole is very unique while you can see the fake ones are very simply made.
LOL, I didn't see this thread before, otherwise I would have responded, those are fake SHB101MX. Whatsmore, I have the SHB101MX in a size 9.5UK (28.0cm) so therefore all the sidings is wrong, but then again what do you expect in a fake shoe.
