Former world number one Zhou Mi, banned for having being tested positive for Clenbuterol in a sample taken out of competition in June is strongly stating her innocence. She is willing to appeal the decision to ban her for 2 years and said she might get pregnant if the appeal fails – something she says no woman would do if using drugs. Any BCers know how Zhou Mi is doing nowadays?

I just remembered this thread after reading that Alberto Contador, the three-time Tour de France champion, also failing a doping test because of ingested Clenbuterol (after eating contaminated meat). He has vowed to appeal any doping sanction and has until midweek next week to submit an appeal.

news in HK has it that Zhou Mi will hold a press conference regarding her 2 years ban. apparently some new results have shown in her drug test and she is trying to clear her name

Looks like Zhou Mi did hold a press conference in HK and provided test result showing Clenbuterol in her was very low and is different from taking Clenbuterol regularly and she just wants to clear her name.
