Stephen Hawking's new book the "Grand Design" will be published on thursday September 9. Coinciding with the book's publication, Discover Channel will be showing a 2-part television series of Hawking's "Into the Universe", the first part on September at 9pm and the second part on September 26 at the same time.
Both the book and the TV series are a must read for humans who want to know where we came from and where is our future.
One of his most telling discovery is that in the presence of gravity, "the universe can and will create itself from nothing". If true, so can humans but in forms we may not consider living from our perspective and in our time dimension.

That's the closes thing to the endorsement of Intelligent Design or it would violate of the some of the most fundamental components of Natural Law.

Let us not jump to conclusion before reading the book or seeing the TV series less it contradicts what you are implying. Gravity existed since the beginning, intelligent design theory was merely a recent counter argument against science.
