Hey all, I'm looking for a stringer near downtown toronto, So far the closest is brownssports but the prices are SO EXPENSIVE!:crying:

Most of the other stores like Maxsports, yo's, lee's and MJ are too far for me. Is there any other stringers closer downtown? Doesn't have to be a store could be a privately own business.

max's usually does same day service
so it'll be efficient if you drop your racket off at max's and then go chill at pmall, pick it up in 2-3 hrs and it'll be done

alternatively, if you trust me enough, i can help you get it strung at max's and bring it downtown for you (i live in scarb and work downtown)
ohhh mj works downtown as well, you might be able to call him up and arrange to drop off and pick up your racket where he works
    he's a really nice guy so i don't think it'll be a big problem
but he is also very busy (lots of stringing orders, and full-time job) so turn-around is around a week

Isn't this in the wrong section?

Anyways, you could message MJstrings since he has a pickup and drop off location close to queens park station if I recall. Or maybe ask some people where you play if they can string your racquet for you?

no problem, i understand (does sound kinda sketchy) hahaha
but yea, max's is my preferred stringer
    charges are around the norm
it'll be cheaper if you bring your own strings (10 for labour)

It's a 5 minute walk from the Finch subway. Their timings are, errr, flexible. Better to call and get all your info first. They have a USRSA certified stringer.

Yes he's really good. Gave him 4 rackets on Monday, got 4 rackets back on Tuesday Morning. Very fast service and affordable.
