Personally, I have not been to any of the following places. However, the information is on the official website of Toronto, so I am assuming that it is reliable. Just the list I'm looking for. I live very close to Amesbury and Kingsview Village. Will check them out when they start. Thanks 321!
http://www.toronto.ca/parks/prd/sports/dropin/racquet/index.htm If anyone is interested, there are more places on the website. I found the original information on a pdf file, and apparently they've updated their website to make it more accessible.
I just called trinity and they said they won't have any drop till october 2nd. Other rec places in toronto you have to register even tho it's free like scadding court center.
Yeah, sorry about that. The thing about Trinity C.R.C, I actually saw it on other post at Badmintoncentral, and I thought I should organize all the locations and time together, but I got too lazy and did not research about it again.
Ya I saw your other post lol. Anyways most places start Sept 20th and after. Registration starts on September 13. I saw some on the pdf that are free but those ones you have to register to save a spot.
Oh, my mistake. I found out when they resume in Fall right after I posted that, but I did not know that you have to register. Thanks for the information.
Ya the ones on the pdf fun guides for the 4 various regions you have to register for unless for other reasons stated.
John Innes CRC Near queen and shelborne have badminton from 1:30 to 5pm every Saturday and it's free. 16yrs+ Starting today. Same with Matty Eckler CRC 953 Gerrard ST E, But it's 18yrs+ 3-5 on saturday and 12-2 on sunday. Not sure if it free tho maybe $2.5 per person.
Went to John Innes CRC last weekend. There are 3 courts and the ceiling near the back-lines isn't the greatest. (I was afraid that I would smash my racket into the ceiling) However, there is usually 1 free court (not sure if it was only due to Halloween), most importantly, it IS free.
If your talking about the jogging circle thingy that cuts over the backlines of the court, not sure how you could smash ur racket into it unless you really jump tho. At Trinity CRC is the same thing.
