Fu Haifeng has the most effective smash currently, and TBH also puts it to good use and is effective in Commonwealth but it isn't penetrating enough for top pairs sometimes.

One more player..Tony Gunawan stands out, his smashes may not be the fastest but accurate and angled foe maximum impact

I will vote for Tan Boon Heong. He is awesome at the back of the court.

It's got to be Fu Hai Feng, but Tan Boon Heong has an amazing smash too. Interesting to see that he uses the Yonex Ti-10. Is that even considered to be a Yonex high-end racket?

Nowadays I have to say Ko Sung Hyun is becoming a very good smasher as well.

Fu than TBH , both brilliant and great power, angle , placement, steepness etc . if my smash is 60% of what their are I will be over the moon.

Personally, I would choose Halim Haryanto in his prime. Just watch 2001 AE MD match. Smashing power and angle were all phenomenal. FHF is a hard smasher, but I feel the placement and angle is not as great/consistent as Halim.
