Am I really third on that list? There's no way I can catch up to Cooler. I spend too much time playing badminton.

I saw that too. Being in the top ten implies that I may be spending too much time on the internet. At least there are eight others worse than me. And May ahead of me after first visiting this site about two months ago - I think someone might not be spending enough time doing homework.

I just hope Kwun doesn't start doing a top ten list based on word count. I would end up so far ahead of everyone else that even if I didn't post again until December, I would still win the first annual BC Verbosity Award.

cheung, i'm much surprised as you are. It must be top 10 count from jan 1, 2001 as i was a late comer into this forum, like late last year.

I do play badminton too, 2 evenings per week. Badmintoncentral consumes just a small portion of my cybersurfing time. I also read online news and participates in discussion forum of my stocks daily, off hour home renovation, stringing, etc.

So, i think you guys should post more instead.

I got a good laugh from the top 10, I do hope I don't enter it anytime soon, although since joining as of late, I've been posting a tremendous amount... Not as much as Byro, with his latest rampage on the board though.
Cooler! My hats off to you. haha, congradulations my friend! :)
just asking Kwun... how many posts do I have now? I imagine at least 30 or so.
I didn't join too long ago either.

the list is all time since the inception of this forum, which is probably around 2 years ago. however, the traffic only picked up after October, 2000.

we have more than 4600 post already, and 4000 of them are from the last 5 months!

thanks kelvin. I really didn't strives for being a top 10 poster. I hope i had contributed something positive from my postings. Now knowing where i stand, i'll try to cut back and not dominating this forum.

OMG!!! Me and my drunken rant!!!

Me, and my drunken rampages!!! hehehe.
That'll teach me to keep my mouth shut more, about stuff. haha!
I'll continue to post stuff as long as this is here, it's great chatting with all of you about badminton related stuff, even if we do sometimes go off track once in a while.
I did not have a clue that I've posted so many messages here though lol.
That's what really took me off guard, oh well... I guess I have an opinion on most stuff anyways. :)

    Re:top 10 sponsorship

Yonex doesn't give much in the way of sponsorship unless the player is in the top ten in the world.

We have a lot of players on a our discussion board so how about getting Yonex to sponsor our top ten contributers?

Or maybe Carlton/Wilson/Forza etc can sponsor the badmintoncentral website.

    Shall we subscribe to commercialism?

    Re:top 10 sponsorship

thanks for your suggestion cheung. I don't mind doing product review for large badminton racket manaufacturer like yonex. I use to give advices to club player on string and racket selection. Now with so many yonex model plus with all those new entries like forza, munzio, yang yang, winex, fleece, karakal, pro-ace, pro-kennex, victor, hi-qua, alpha, gosen, talbot-torro, not to mention old timers like carlton, wilson and black knight, i don't have the time or money resources to try them all.

Yonex uses top players as staff advisors but i bet none of these sponsored players talk or write review on rackets. The grass root users are very uninformed before buying their rackets.

    Re:top 10 sponsorship

Once my coach brought a racquet to the training session. The racquet had a cool look and my coach said that it was a new model and the manufacturer requested it to be tested. His opinion was not a favourable but I do not think any changes were made to that model. Like Cooler said, we don't know what the experts' opinion. We will know after we buy it, unfortunatelly.
