If you make them bigger and widescreen I see some with new desktop potential.

Excellent pictures. I did try doing extension tube macros of my repaired AT700, but obviously a used racquet doesn't look as flash

My set up is poorer also.. no speedlight, kit lens (18-55mm F/3.5-5.6) with a splinter stuck on the apperture control thing to keep the apperture blades wide open. I did however, order a 50mm F/1.8 so..

The original pictures I have is really large image, posted up in internet I wouldnt want my potential viewer to load a 5mb++ per picture haha so scaled it down to reasonable size. Thanks for the compliments anyway !

Thanks ! Any rackets also deserved their photoshoot hehe.

Anyway, I dont get with the splinter stuck thingy, but I've experienced with tubes, and the quality is really excellent as there's no other lens involved in between the camera and your 18-55.

What I did was, mount your kitty to your camera directly, adjust the desire aperture, press and hold the DoF Preview button http://www.chrisridley.co.uk/blogs/a...ew-button-for/, then unmount your lens from your camera, now your lens is already set for your desire aperture, you can mount your tube and mount it back to the camera.

As for lighting, I find its real essential to have a speedlite, especially on close up/macro shots, to bring out the details out of the object. But of course, its not impossible shooting without it, given enough ambient lighting that you can get from any possible source.

50mm f1.8, nice lens for its price. A must have lens for every shooter I assume ? Do share with us your artworks too aite !

Crap I think I babbling too much, sorry ! Just sharing hehe. Anyway glad you guys enjoy the photos, keep me learning and continue shooting.
