Default does string has its own ideal tension?

    Hi there,

Recently, I've heard from a stringer at AJ Racquet@Puchong Bandar Puteri, stating that a specific string has its ideal tension in order to release its full potential.

    Is this true?

    For a given player, yes.

But strings aren't like car engines, with fixed rpm/horsepower characteristics no matter who the driver is; Player A might find that a string hits hardest at Tension A, but Player B may find it hits hardest at Tension B.

For a given string, there might b a minimum tension threshold at which to maximise its full potential n vice versa.

However, string type n tension level r very personal preferences as these two factors can either complement ur playing style or simply kill it...
