oops my bad for a repost, but power is u get power obviously, repulsion is less pwoer from u but more power from strings... like u can hit litely and it can still go as fast, its usually for women. since they cannot smash as hard as men. but if u use the repulsion strings, and u can smash hard its no use. it has a limit, to what i have used.

interesting... BG65P has the biggest circle, does that mean it's the best general, all-around string?
i think so! except for price of course

nope not necesarily the bg 70 pro is suppose to be since it falls in all the categories so it is the all around string

i would have thought BG65 more towrads power, kind of feel strange that most popular string is based upon duarability than power....

I've always known BG65 to be the durable one. Durability is 10/10 on the classification lists. Thats why I string with it because I can't play as often as I want to.

correct BG65 is known for durability, i never doubted that, it just i was surprized that it was not tiltied towrads power....

thats where the 65ti comes in its the perfect for power....i guess according to the the graph...but wiht the bg 80 it seems like the chart is saying u need less energy to get as much power with it as the 65ti......since it is towards repulsion more...

That is what I thought, so will be switching 1 of my racquets from BG65 to BG80 and to see the difference it can bring to my game.

let us know how it goes. Im using a 66 I think atm and I find it is better than the 65 in all departments.

Strung it yesterday and played with it today.

After a few games of extra power but the same control as BG65, my forearm started hurting. Its the same pain as when you use high tensions (although I kept my tension constant at 24lbs).
I cant say about durability, but will be buying some more BG80 soon.
