Tight shoes?
Thin socks?
Sweaty feet?
Improper footwork, ie. lunging?

Too tight or too loose shoes may be the problem. In badminton, always use good yellow sole shoes that have a snug fit on your feet. Also, another cause may be if you sweat alot and dont use good cotton sweat absorbing socks.
