As title suggests, my skin peels off on my toes after badminton... hurts a little... what might be the cause ?
Happens to me as well, but it doesn't hurt for me. I treat it like normal skin shedding. I exfoliate with a pumice stone during shower. Just like new baby's feet right after
Hi visor, is it improper footwork that you lunge?? For me, i ussually lunge abit towards the net to reach it to recieve a net shot. I feel that it is more comfortable for me to do that than taking an extra step.. Awaiting for you advice, Tom
Sorry to confuse. Lunging towards the net is a normal part of badminton. But sometimes can be done improperly, eg. if landing with toes first instead of heel first, then it's possible to get friction blisters on the toes.
i experience the same problem. your shoe may be too loose. causing movements when you lunge forward. or your soles may be worned out. Any of this?
Too tight or too loose shoes may be the problem. In badminton, always use good yellow sole shoes that have a snug fit on your feet. Also, another cause may be if you sweat alot and dont use good cotton sweat absorbing socks.
