Hey Guys, Currently I'm using the Amortec 900P for my singles game. I love it due to the power it generates but recently I am considering getting the Victor Super Waves 35 to try but do not wanna waste my money if both racquets are pretty similar. Anyone whom has tried both of these racquets care to comment?
Victor SW35 is in my opinion a lot better than AT900p, it is more powerful, stiffer, better control, and more manueverable. In my opinion the SW35 is well worth your money.
Thanks for the reply! Another concern is because of the head heaviness of the Amortec I find it a bit slow defensively and after a while my arms start to get tired.... How is the head heaviness and swing speed for the SW35 as compared to AT900P?
Another question: Is there a significant difference between the 3U and 4U version of the SW35? Which one would you guys prefer?
I own the SW 35 3U3G. The defence is quite good, and it doesn't feel too head heavy like the AT900P in my opinion. But don't get me wrong, it's a powerful beast. If you choose the 4U version it can lack in terms of power.
I have this feeling sometimes, I own a 900P 3UG5 and have thought about SW35 (only because every thread LD_Rules post's he is marketing the racket ), but on a serious note, it doesn't really appeal to me... anyone have any insights on sw35? is there a review somewhere?
First of all you can read some reviews of BC memeber in this thread. http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?75912-Victor-Super-Waves-35-Reviews Furthermore you can read this detailed review: http://badminton-coach.co.uk/category/badminton-equipment/victor-badminton-rackets/
Thanks for the comments guys..... Had a difficult time deciding btw the 3U and 4U version but in the end I purchased the 3U SW35. Have not tried the racquet on the court yet but inital feel is that it feels heavier than my AT900P but gives a very solid feel when I swing it probably due to the stiff shaft. Kind of concerned that this is a taxing racquet for the wrist and forehand.
