I'm looking to get a Yonex Arcsaber 8dx for my birthday present... I want to know if anyone has ordered from mybadmintonstore online? Are their racquets authentic? Thanks

Why don't order it from Japan then, or your local Ottawa Yonex rep, if price isn't the issue :D :D

I need to find an authorized Yonex rep in Ottawa... And it's easier to shop online when I'm at work :p

    Hi guys,

I know this thread was opened a year ago, so I'd just like to know if you all still reckon mybadmintonstore.com is still a good option as an online store.

    BTW, I'm in Sydney.

    Cheers.

the last time I bought items from them is around early 2011
IMO they have excellent service (and free shipping! for small items, you need to pay they shipping cost for big items such as racket)
it should be still trust worthy and a good choice if you want some badminton items from asia (which usually cheaper except the JP version of it)

Sohubuy.com also a good option (their price is slightly cheaper for rackets) but you need to be a little bit more patience as the seller does not speak english (his cousin do, so don't worry)

Can anybody tell me if I would be subject to an additional import tax if I were to order a large(r) item from mybadmintonstore? I am hoping to buy between 5-10 individual packs of string, including some more nitto tape. I have purchased Nitto tape from them before and was very happy with the service. However, since it was a smaller item I was not hit with an additional duty. I have bought many things from outside Europe before, including RKEP grips from Eric, and was never subject to any additional fee. I'm based in Scotland, UK.

    Thanks.

I don't think 5-10 individual string would make you need to pay additional custom fee
