RR District tourney is on 8,9,10 July at Saroornagar Courts.Not confrmed but heard it from some peopl.e

The 2011,GHMC Open would be conducted on 14th & 15th Nov,2011 at Ameerpet Courts.For registrations you can either contact Venugopal(9949491313) at GHMC courts in Ameerpet(opposite foodworld) or Kamlesh Jain at Manju Sports-Secunderabad 98491-80350 / 65217614.Entry Fees INR 100 for Singles and INR 200 for Doubles(I am not sure of the fees).Last Date for entries is 9th Nov,2011.

Bhimavaram will play host to the South Zone inter-State badminton championship for men and women at Cosmopolitan Club from September 7 to 9, according to Andhra Pradesh Badminton Association (APBA) secretary K.Ch. Punnaiah Chowdary, here on Thursday.He asked the interested players to register their names in their respective district associations.Releasing the APBA calendar for 2012-2013, Mr. Chowdary said the AP State senior men's and women's tournament will be held at Mangalagiri and Guntur from August 15 to 18, while the junior under-19 boys' and girls' tournament will be hosted by Bharat Heavy Vehicle Limited (BHEL) at Medak from August 21 to 24.APBA schedule : AP State junior U-17, Yemmiganur, Kurnool, August 26 to 29; AP State sub-junior U-15, Vizianagaram, September 1 to 4; AP State sub-junior U-13, Visakhapatnam, September 20 to 23; AP State veterans' (men and women), Guntur, January 24 to 27, 2013.

At Hanmakonda, the Warangal District Badminton Association, along with the District Sports Authority of Warangal, will organise a badminton tournament-cum-selection trials in different age-groups for men, women and boys and girls on July 14 and 15 at the J.N. Indoor Stadium. The teams for the ensuing State inter-district tournament will be picked during the meet.Entries close by 5 p.m. on July 9 and players can call Dr. P. Kishore,RR should be some time in July as the AP State Senior Mens & Womens is scheduled to be held on Aug 15 to 18th at Mangalgiri.So by logic,all the district tourneys have to be completed by atleast end of July or early August to enable the district associations to send in their team lists to the State Association.Keep a look in the local dailies especially The Hindu for the announcement.Even Medak Districts havent been announced yet.

Offtopic,we did make it to the Quarters in the Hyderabad Districts Senior Dbls and to the Finals in the Mens 35+ Doubles
