Today R16 match, I would say WD match had a tough task.
Goh Liu Ying/Cheah Li Ya facing Bankier Imogen, this woman is good in both WD and XD.
Chin Eei Hui/Woon Khe Wei facing #2 seed, seeing how Chin and Woon perform lah...
Koo K K/Chin Eei Hui opponent is #6 seed, but i don't think any tough.
Others should pass to QF easily.

Ok first thing first. Official result site is rubbish.

My college juniors designed better pages for Inter University Games.
Second, visited and saw matches (this weekend) at stadium. Packed with people of all ages and everybody getting cheers, except unless they are palying against Indian player.
Third, WMC against Lee Chin (Mauritius) was playing horrible. She should not keep much hope if she continues like this. She is the weakest link in Malaysian group (I don't think people will doubt this fact).
Finally, the match between Daisy (Uganda) and Sofia (Flakland Is) was the most rubbish match I ever saw in my life. This is CW Games and you know how the first 10 points in the match was earned - all service on net. Even the coaches from the two countries ad parents of Sofia could not hide their laughs at the level of match.
Hopefully, we get better badminton today.

Who is this Lee Chin? Is she Karen Foo Kune? It was a pretty decent match actually, in my opinion. Despite the lopsided scoreline, there were quite a number of intelligent rallies.

The weakest link in the Malaysian group, by far, is Lydia Cheah. Not WMC. If WMC were weak, she wouldn't have been able to steal game 1 from Saina in the Mixed Team Final, and almost do the same thing from 5-11 down in game 2.

By weakest link, I meant amongst the medal probables.

WMC may still win a medal though. Don't know about Lee Chin and Karen Foo are same person. But during the match WMC body language suggested she just woke up from bed. Fans were expecting much better from her.

Hmm... I double doubt that... she definitely has what it takes to NOT be the weakest link... as abedeng said, Lydia is more like it...

I actually watched that match... could see who better suited the 'horrible' - WMC or her sad opponent... WMC played good match, not as tough as the team final but definitely not horrible as well... horrible was Karen, I believed... she was sent all around the court and my oh my I nearly flinched over the sight...

and mascara on the badminton court ... that's the first time for me ... perhaps I fail to watch many tourneys to miss out such norms (is it not?)

p/s: Karen with her good look and her way of playing, oh dear...
