6 from PB. Jaya Raya (2 BD players, 4 GD players)
4 from PB. Tangkas Alfamart (3 boys, 1 girl)

All tickets and expenses [other than 5 free rooms provided by the Japanese organizers] are paid by the individual INA clubs...

    Just guessing the names,

    PB. Jaya Raya :
U-17 : Anggia Shitta Awanda, Shela Devi Aulia, Hafiz Faizal, Putra Eka Roma
U-15 : Lya Ersalita, Ruselly Hartawan

    PB. Tangkas
U-17 : Fikri Ikhsandi. Ari Januari, Setyana Mapasa
    U-15 : Jonathan Christie

    PB. Suryanaga
    U-15 : Meirisa Cindy Sahputri

I heard Berliyan Sudrajat (U-15) also called for Selection in Jakarta, just sound weird the deadline was closed on October 5th, 2010. If her club (PB. Semen Gresik) don't have money, poor her.
Hanna Ramadhini (U-17) won't be sent there, maybe she still injury.

what is the consideration of player who is sent to this tournament?

i only saw top 4 big club in indonesia.

i think, pbsi should make selection first before they sent the players to this tournament. so, some player from small club also can compete.......:):):)

There is no logic in making a selection if PBSI won't fund anyone... :pWhen PBSI announced to not give out travelling funds to whomever is going to Japan, the small clubs without adequate funds support just withdrew... The 4 big clubs of INA [who probably have more money than PBSI] stepped in... :p

haha, it was a good reason:D whereas some cost of the tournament will be paid by japan itself, but pbsi still cannot give funds....so pity they are:p

The victim of this system is Berliyan Sudrajat who qualified on U-15, GS & GD paired with Meirisa Cindy. She failed to go because of her club (PB. Semen Gresik) no money to send her, it so pity.
Look liked badminton isn't the priority of Semen Gresik (Goverment's Cement Company), they prefer to Soccer & Volleyball.

    Entry list is out

Chiba city has a suspended monorail transportation system. Very interesting.
I've only heard of Wuppertal in Germany having a similar network. Wanted to go there to ride on it, but unfortunately, I'm not free during the duration of this event

You are a genius, Sandy! :D

I don't know who those 2 KOR BD are..... but any BD doubles from KOR should be good... :p That's their reputation... Like any GD and GS sent by China cannot be too weak...

I noticed that Iran sent way more girls than boys to Chiba...

2 years ago, PBSI officials had to kick several Iranian girls out of Riyanto Subagja's room... They were being aggressively flirtatious towards him, swarming him like groupies... Wearing head scarf in the courts, seemingly conservative Muslim in public, .......but when not in public, they behave like any other flirty teenagers from the more liberal parts of the world... :D hahaha...
