I was just browsing and went to www.centralsports.co.uk , and the third news item from the top is a new shuttle called "Quill" by Ashaway that supposedly has all the characteristics of a feather shuttle, but even more durability than nylons. If this is for real, it'll solve my problems for finding birds to train with. :) Can somebody order some so they can review it for us? :D

i read the advertisement too and it does sound too good:

1: last longer than conventional nylon, hmm, i wonder which nylon they r comparing with.
    2. Flight profile similar to feather.

If the above is true, then it is truly a remarkable progress in shuttle innovation. However, i believe it when i try it. Too bad only medium speed is available, i need slow to extra slow where i live.

    Slanter,

This has already been talked about, it's further down the page named 'Ashaway Quill Shuttles?' You will find reviews by me in that thread.
