    Hi

I'd like to know what is the cheapest, but also lasts the longest, feather bird in Ontario, Canada. My friends said it was Sea Lion brand, but I forgot what type it is. Everyone can contribute, but I'd like to know from the people of Ontario more, since I live there.

    Thanks

Do a search. I believe Victor is suppose to have really good birds but this topic has been talked about before.

In us market, Aeroplane G1130 is around $12 and G1130SS is around $14. Both are IBF approved. The only difference is, G1130SS is "preminum grade feather", G1130 is "1st grade". However, I can't really tell the difference.

In China, the corresponding code is 101 (G1130ss), 202 (G1130).

that price is in US$ of course, since he's in the US. In Toronto, they usually go for $18-$22 per tube. So $14US = $21 roughly exchanged @ 1.54. I personally like the red Hi-Qua...not too expensive and it actually lasts after steaming them of course. Most tubes go for within the $18-$22 range...including the 'black & white' Sea Lion you mentioned...

For your reference, here in the Philippines there are a wide variety of shuttles like Trump (very cheap but not good), Tronex, DFS, Gosen, Yonex, Wilson, Carlton and even Prince. The last two tubes I've bought were Yonex AS-10 and MMOA Super Select MS-850 (both at P 550, a little more than US$ 10). The prices are a little less than retail (around US$ 13), bought from a relative with sources.
